My name is Bill Snyder, you could say I'm an avid crappie fisherman. I've been in pursuit of slabs, crappie, specks, papermouths, sac-a-lait, just to name a few for 40 years. I've fished many of lakes and rivers, fished many tournaments, small clubs and Fished Crappie USA Tournament Trail for years, and formed Middle Tennessee Crappie not (MTCC). Well I've started a new crappie tournament (Crappie Angler Tournament Series ) fishing lakes in middle Tennessee to bring my fellow crappie angers together again for little competition and comradery. Tell me more about "Crappie Angler Tournament Series". What lakes, rules, fees etc.

CATS will be having 10 tournaments, posted thread hear on crappie.com tourney schedule.

CRAPPIE ANGLER TOURNAMENT SERIES

RULES

1. TEAMS: You may enter alone or with a partner of your choice. No more than (2) people per boat.
   
2. WEATHER: In case of extreme weather/water conditions, CATS shall have the right to cancel or postpone any tournament.
   
3. POLES: Limit of (8) poles per team applies except where a State limit is set at a lesser amount, (2) hooks per pole.
   
4. FISH/ WEIGH-IN: Teams may weigh-in seven (7) fish only. All fish brought to weigh-in must be alive and meet State legal length requirements. Fish will be measured on Golden Rule Tournament Board only. Fish brought to weigh-in must have been caught with rod and reel/pole or any combination of. Any team bringing in illegal crappie to weigh-in will be disqualified. All teams must be at weigh-in no later than (30) minutes after end of tournament hours to have fish weighed in.
   
5. BIG FISH: Big fish entries are optional at $5.00 per person, in a 2 person team both have to participate. Only (1) big fish will be weighed in. In case of tie, Big Fish winner will be determined with flip of coin.
   
6. BAITS: Live and artificial baits may be used.
   
7. BOAT/LIVEWELL: CATS shall have the right to inspect boats/live wells before start of tournament hours. All teams must fish from boat only.
   
8. PROTESTS: Any protests must be made within (30) minutes from end of tournament hours.
   
9. TIES: In case of tie for first place, big fish of each team will determine winner, (1) fish weigh-in only. Second place and on down, all ties split purse of that prize level.
   
10. STATE LAW: All teams must comply with State fishing and boating regulations.
    
11. ENTRY FEES/PAYOUTS: Entry fee per person is $15.00 dollars, $30.00 per team (2) person team. Payout will be 6 teams or less winner take all, 7 or more teams 50/30/20 split.
    
12. MINORS: Must have parent or guardian sign release form.
    
13. TOURNAMET HOURS: No fishing line in water before or after Tournament hours, any team caught with line in water will be disqualified.
