Hey DI. How about shooting me a PM on all your hot spots since you are in Hawaii! LOL. All jokes aside I have only fished three hours at DA HILL. My partner and I are currently tied for eighth on the Slabmaster/Crappie Master Trail. If we can finish eighth or better in the standings after THE HILL we qualify for the Crappie Masters National Championship in Columbus Mississippi. That would be a trip of lifetime for this old Ga. Boy. Hurry on back to Georgia DI.

    Hey Earl,
I sure wish I was there to fish that tournament, April can be a magic time on the hill depending on water temp and clarity. Black crappie have already finished doing there thing for the most part, but the white crappie should just be starting. I would be looking for stained water and shallow, very shallow probably going to need to tightline or longline with very light jig heads.
