Thread: $10,000 Crappie tournament. Athens, GA March 24, 2012

Hi everyone.
Well another year has passed by and its time for our tournament again.
This is our 15th year doing this event.
Saturday March 24th 2012 at Sandy Creek Park, Athens, GA. 8am - 4pm.
$80 pre register
$100 day of
One team consists of one (1) or two (2) adults or one (1) adult and up to three (3) children, 15 years old or less.
We have tagged fish in the following amounts;
1 - $10,000
9 - $500
10 -$250

Also other prize payouts include;
$500 1st place
$400 2nd place
$300 3rd place
$75 for single heavy fish

Winning weights will be based on total team weights of up to 10 crappie weighed in. A single heavy fish will be choosen by the team members if the wish to try for the single heaviest fish.

Tagged fish; if a tagged fish is caught the tag and fish must be attached to each other when being presented for verification of the tag numbers. Prize will be awarded to the person who caught said tagged fish.
Tag numbers will be availble for viewing at the registration table after the start of the event.
Any fish caught with a tag from a previous event is not due any special consideration for this event.

Lake Chapman / Sandy Creek requires vessels to use electric powered motors only.

The $10k tagged fish has not yet been caught in an active tournament but over the years there have been many of $250 and $500 tagged fish caught as well as some tagged fish from previous years tournaments.
