Im mainly concered about the lock systems. I never fished a system like that before. I just want to find one lake and not worry about going thru the locks.

Last year's creel reports rank the lakes Aberdeen 1st by a long shot, Aliceville 2nd and Columbus last.
Is Aberdene the upper lake or the lower lake? I have always heard the southern lake has bigger crappie than the other two lakes.
Hey Drill Instructor, I'll be there. Looking forward to meeting you.

    Default Aberdeen

Aberdeen is the northern or upper lake in the legal waters.

I would not advise trying to lock up or down at all. Much easier and quicker to load out and back in.

I will be at Grenada (Crappiemasters) the whole week before and missing two weeks in a row of work is not much of an option. I thought about just coming down Thursday but I figured instead of giving away the money and wasting the time that I would just stay at home.
