    You can try it, but a tree this late will be dry and boyant. Bet it takes 2 blocks unless its a Charlie Brown tree.:D

    I have been dropping 3 at a time with a 65 pound block, but no jug. Sank some when they were still green with no problem. As they dried out little more weight was needed. Seen some trees last weekend that someone else had droped, they were floating-NOT GOOD!! P.S. make sure you use good rope! Had some small rope break.

    I would think probably not ...I would suggest using more than you think necessary...just my thoughts
