well took a couple out last sunday the bricks worked with a little help from some more rocks
mudbug. How many bricks or rocks did it take to sink those? I been thinking about trying it but concerned about how many blocks it would take to get them down.
i put 5 big rocks on one probably the size of a football and 4 bricks and 3 rocks on the other went straight down. i would say 10 bricks will do it if u used blocks 3 will work
Great looking stakebeds. If I make a suggestion. I would take more slats off the pallet itself, like the ones on top except the end ones. It will sink that much easier. Or at least take them off and nail them in the upright position for more verticle structure.

Looks great, just heavy. Get the boys to help launch them!

We have built some of those stake beds with pallets....They are simple to build...But, they can be a pain to sink...Takes a lot of weight and have to balance it out...We now build condos with concrete and wood slabs....We use 10 in by 10in wood frames and are able to re use them...
