    Are you sure that is bamboo? Looks like oak logs to me. WOW, those should work. I wish our bamboo grew that big in diameter. You could make trolling rods out of that stuff.

    If you get time, drill a couple holes in each section, so water can get in. All that air in them might keep em suspended....

    Depends on the water depth. Sometimes in deep water they work good standing up. The air in the Bamboo with keep it up right. Just have to use enough weight to counter the bouyancy of the Bamboo.

    champ, those are nice but my thought is this...I used to use boo. Then went to PVC. If I'm going to take the time, etc why not build it to last FOREVER? Just my line of thinking. Nice set-up, nice fish. Keep up the good work.

    Those are some nice looking sets. Do you ever have problems with falling over? We made some using bricks and the wind blew them over in the backyard. We thought if the wind blew them over what about boat traffic?
