A hand saw would work as well as anything.
I may be mistaken, and someone correct me if I am, but I don't think regular fittings will work on the conduit...

What is the best tool to cut this?....I have about 12 pieces at around 10ft long..Also does anyone know if regular pvc fittings will work on electrical pvc conduit?....

Simply go to Lowe's, or Home depot, or any hardware store and buy electrical PVC connectors. They're about 10-12 cents a piece. Electrical PVC is generally grey in color, while plumbing PVC is generally white, so buy your connectors accordingly. I cut my PVC with an electric miter saw, sawzall. jig saw, circular saw, band saw, or hack saw. They'll all do the job.

If you cut a lot of PVC this is the way to go. Fast, clean and square cut everytime.Originally Posted by fowlmood77

I use my sawzall if I have a bunch, I can cut 10 at a time with a long blade.
I just put a wrap of duct tape where I am going to cut and cut in the middle of the tape to keep ends from flopping around.

If you have pruning shears (loppers) that will work fine too. And you can glue the grey pvc to white no problem.
Ya'll think a chop saw would be fine? Gonna cut a bunch this week and got my chop saw out of storage. This is for 4 inch PVC and smaller.
I use a 12" Mitre saw to cut PVC, works great
