Default How many in one area.

I'm going to start building some pvc condos in 4 gal buckets. My question is how they should be placed in the areas I'm wanting to fish. Should I put one condo or several in a circle, lines ect...?

    Thanks,
    Buzz

I would suggest putting at least 4 or 5 to one spot. Too hard to find 'em again if you just use 1 per spot.

We've been putting 6 stake/buckets per spot,i agree with bandit it makes it easier to find.

I third that...Unless you use a channel marker, etc. Some kind of above water marker that's there all the time. I use many channel markers, etc just based upon the fact that I won't have to pull the gps out every time. It's nice to just be able to run up on a pile and start fishing. Now you wouldn't fish it on the weekend. Just during the week. Get it.

Oh and I like 3-5 depending on their size. And get yourself some DISHPANS...At the dollar store. 18qt models. That way you can pop out the condo and reuse the plastic pan. You ain't gonna reuse a bucket unless you cut it and tie something around it, etc etc etc.

I own a small hardwood flooring company, so we go through lots of glue buckets. They are fairly clean when we are done with them and the glue is non-toxic. If anyone around the Mobile area needs some, let me know. We toss about 20-30 a week in the dumpster.

I guess I'll start making some condos this weekend.

Those look good, laserdoc. How will you weigh them down/keep them in one spot?
    I think I got one...
