    Default Bamboo structure

I have a friend with a bunch of bamboo that I can get as much as I need. I have never done any structure before so my question is: How many stalks do you recommend putting in each bundle? My plan is to concrete them in cinder blocks since I have a bunch of those lying around on my farm.

I just recently purchased a lake house and it has zero structure around the dock so I want to remedy that. Thanks in advance!!

I fill the blocks with as many stakes that will fit. Mix the concrete thin so it goes around all. Wiggle the stakes to get more concrete in.
Kroger, floral department has 3 gallon pots that cut flowers are shipped and displayed in. I get a good size stack every week when I shop. There are 8 stores within 15 miles from me.

What size stalk is best? His rather large bamboo patch has stuff as big as your ankle down to the size of you finger.....I'm thinking about getting some about 2-3 inch size and cutting it down to the desired lengths? Probably be easier to handle by myself too.

The patch I get mine is like that. Older plants are huge, I don't have a use for them. I get the younger plants, 1 1/2 to 3". Cut at 9 ft, sometimes 4 cuts plus a long top. I use some for 8 ft tomato stakes. For habitat 5 to 9 ft.
