    Got out upon the formerly mentioned fuel pier, 4” of ice. Got only 1 bite but saw many smaller bluegills caught. Several persons fishing in the mouth of the Marina close to the tip of the S breakwater did well with bigger bluegills and some 10” crappies. No walleye or perch that anyone caught. Will try again Friday around 4ish assuming the ice is still solid enough

    Am NOT going to even subtly encourage any “ 0 dark 30” activities but do remember that light rain and/ or snow conditions can seriously impact both UV and/ or Infrared detection devices at a distance, particularly at night. That said, it’s simply safer and easier during daylight hours with official permission
