Those look fine. Should attract nicely.
Finally found someone with bamboo and made a few structures to put out tomorrow. The bamboo was a little smaller than I wanted, so I’m not sure how they will hold up.

They will work great
The love for fishing is one of the best gifts you can pass along
Those will work.
Have you ever put anything scented on them? I’ve heard of people sinking canned dog food, I thought about actual garlic since a lot of people use garlic scent on baits. I realize it would only help to find the brush.

If ever up this way we can get you a truck load of big stuff.
For the next ones you build add a lot more bamboo, triple the amount, make it thick. Drill holes through them and tie together loosely. Don't use copper or zinc coated wire. Can use nails and screws that will be in the concrete when set.
Only heard of poking holes in cans of dog food to bait an area for catfish.

Thanks canebreaker, I will definitely try thickening it up and tying together next time. I’m going to take some notes and keep pictures so that I can evaluate over time. I read some things that said leave 8” between limbs for the fish and others to make them thick. Thinking about Christmas trees, thick makes sense. I was able to put them out today and was shocked that they didn’t stand out so much on side imaging. I’m going to have to drive over it a few times and observe, because I’ve probably missed other brush piles lol.
