If I had access to bamboo I’d use it for sure. I’m probably going to end up dropping some natural brush too. As far as remaining upright they’re won’t be a lot of current where I sink them so guess I’ll just hope for the best. I’d think it would take quite a bit to knock them over anyway with the weight they are. Trial & error I guess but I’ve saw several videos where they’re just dropped in.

Can always tie a jug or something to top limbs to help hold them upright.

a sealed off 2 liter tied to the top of them with nylon will make them stand and easy to find as well , just thought .
used to do that on stuff that wasn't boo and it worked really well. typically it isnt the current that knocks them over , it is more often than not an anchor or someone jerking on them with braid

How about using some 65 lb. braid that i don't use to tie a 2 liter bottle on with? What else could a man use that hooks wouldn't get hung in besides braid or nylon rope?

I actually thought about wiring one to them real tight but didn't know if anybody had a less snaggy idea. Thanks

Old extension cord. Use a laundry detergent jug with a loop handle. IF you are concerned about tipping. My structure is intentionally made wider so it doesn’t matter if it tips over.
