Better with more bamboo stalks , Wooden stakes last longer and works best for us . Location is a big deal sinking cover . Bet in right location it will hold a few .

not bad , about one condo apart when sunk is how we sink them , in areas we already know the crappie like to hang .
more stalks as mentioned is how I like them ,with several almost parallel to the base at a really low angle to reduce "tipping" over .
it might be best to sink those in a gaggle together to create a bit more cover amongst them .
and you might also give thought to a gatorade bottle tied into the top of them to help keep them upright
