Thread: I fish in a deep water lake and....

was wondering how much quickrete would it take to sink a 5 gal bucket in 25'-30' of water and hold it?
I have access to a lot of old, wooden fence posts and was thinking of putting one post per bucket and then taking my cordless drill and screwing hardwood stakes --I have access to them too-- to the post.
Maybe even screwing limbs to the post too.
Should be able to carry a few of these buckets with post in them at one time and screw the stakes to them once i get to my spot, making transportation and moving around easier.
What say y'all?
