pvc trees (hope these will work)

Howdy from East Texas -- I recently aquired a good source of free 2 inch and 4 inch water pipe and have built 7 ft. tall trees out of them. I have placed 4 per location at 3 different locations so far this winter and spring. I placed them in 16 to 20 ft. water close to the side of main lake points and marked them with gps coordinates. Should these be productive this summer, or will it take a year or so for the Crappie to find them?

I have seen Crappie find & use brush/condo's within a few days of placing it in the water , other times it might take longer
