2 12 in long steril grass carp per acre. They have kept mine perfectly clean for several years.
My pond has got started with moss/algae allready. Anyone have ideas on what to treat it with that works?
HEY,,WATCH THAT YELLOW ROD
The wise answer is to contact a pond specialist or the SCdnr.
Normally grass carp prefer leafy vegetables and not filament algae.
We used Cutrine...about 22 bucks a gallon. Never kill more than 1/3 of the pond algae at a time or the algae decomposition causes oxygen depletion (the more smaller treatments the better).
