    It only takes about 5 minutes to put it together. And it doesn't take up your whole boat or cause a lot of attention.

    great idea, but why not just cut the boo at an angle and shove it into the ground? Thats what I do.

    The reason you don't just cut the bottom of the bamboo at an angle and shove in the ground is that then everyone would see your structure. With the PVC design it is alot more difficult for a stranger to find your top. Due to the bamboo being below the surface of the water.
