Default burlap sack and horse manure

My neighbor and bamboo supplier doesn't fish but he has become interested in crappie due to my using his bamboo for condos.

He told me that his neighbor from when he lived in Conway, who fished Lake Conway, would take a burlap sack fill it with manure toss it in the lake and within a week it would hold crappie. I told him I would ask around and see if anyone else had heard of this or knew if it worked?

I don't know about manure (but I do have a cat...hmmm) but dogfood or corn both work to bring the fish around.
    I think I got one...

We use to use cottonseed meal in a burlap bag. Not sure about horse manure, but there would be enough organic material to draw in some fish I'm sure...

Might work, but you have to really want to catch some fish to literally haul "crap" to the lake. If I did I think I'd keep that secret to myself.

Not sure if I will try it or not. If I do I'll give a report.
