Sounds like you have a pretty good plan there already. Remember that when dropping structure it can be dangerous always wear your PFD as the weight used for sinking it can pull you overboard and to the bottom of the lake really fast.
The info for my structure drop is this: It will be in a 2.5 acre pond. I will use bundled tree branches in concrete or rock pan. Due to the primitive ramp and the quick drop to 30 fow I can not use my larger boats. I will be using a 12ft lake jon with 9.8 outboard to deliver the structure to its home. This is the part in question. My only idea is to lay an osb sheet across bow and gunnels with trees on top. When in the drop zone I would lift the osb and slide the tree into the water. Does this sound acceptable or are there better ways?

Give yourself a bit of time to make the final placement on the water. We drifted a bit not realizing it and misplaced a super habitat in too shallow not seeing we were drifting while sliding it over the gunnel.

I plan to use buoys to mark my drop locations. Will start with 3 in the same corner. Hopefully I can drop them somewhere close to the markers but I know how my luck goes.

Do a dry run and look at it beforehand with sonar, slower is better and allow for the wind. " Final turn onto attack run, bomb bay doors open, Master Arm Switch into the "Armed" position...5, 4, 3, 2, 1, bombs away !"
