    Nimrod
Andrews has a sweet setup...he can fish indoors!
Probably the sweetest Personal system, I have viewed...he has built an entire ecosystem, that is producing 2-3 pounders like I have never seen! I've seen more pictures of BIG fish in the last 3 weeks, then in a long while!

I've seen it Buddy....You have made the perfect fishing ecosystem for someone that has a place on the water...you not only put cover in to fish off of, but cover for the entire system...plus cover to continually draw fish in...that's the SECOND most thorough system that I have seen yet...it's only behind our entire lake!lol

Hello and welcome here ! If I may `suggest` try Intimidator`s ideal of using ALL the "C" trees as laydowns. "C" trees tend to go flat on the side touching the ground; flip each tree over and remove all the small branches on the flat side 18" up from the bottom of each of the trunks then use VHD (very heavy duty ) Zip ties to secure the block to the block TIGHTLY near the bottom and top of the block. This ensures that wave action will not chaffe thru the Zip ties. Get at least 5 5 gallon buckets and drill 4 1/2" holes at 90 degrees in the sides at the bottom of each bucket. Put 2 pieces of 30" LIGHT rebar thru the holes in the bucket and wire them together into an "X" inside the bucket. ENSURE that there is about 2" of the rebar sticking out the back of the bucket and all you can get sticking out the front ! Sand at least 6-10 pieces of scrap PVC pipe and put at least 2 stainless steel screws into the bottom end of each piece. Pour Quik-Crete into each bucket and set the PVC into it; you may have to prop it up while the Quik-Crete sets up. AFTER it is completely dry bend the 2 LONGER adjoining rebar legs downward at about 90 degrees- this is CRITICAL for placement on a steep slope !. Find your spots on the lake and drop the laydowns shallow to deep1st while WEARING your life preserver . (They are called that for a GOOD reason, sir !) Then take your 1st couple of buckets and pick a spot on the deep end of your rows of laydowns. ENSURE when you let go of the bucket that the 2 bent down legs are towards deeper water and release it Unless it`s a 60 degree or steeper bank those legs will be driven into the slope by the weight of the bucket and it will probably STAY exactly where you put it, it will hold bigger crappie AND it should be close to `invisible` to most sonars. Unfortunately, the fish that it will hopefully attract are NOT invisible to sonar... we have sank several thousands of attractors including some very successful "stealthy" designs but they always attract those (deleted) pesky UN-stealthy fish that keep giving them away ! Good Luck !
