Looks good to me! Very good work!
Well I had a little PVC and I cut a piece of wood to make this fish attractor. A little of both worlds. I am told that wood is needed and PVC last longest. I hope that a bag of 60# concrete will keep it from floating in 19' water. I had rather have to much than not enough weight. Well the bottom Pvc is just in now for a picture . I will put it in permanently after I get on the lake. Small limbs won't last long but PVC will and the bigger main wood part should last a pretty long time. Well I just wanted to share this with everyone. I sanded everything, I don't really know the wood type but it seemed to be hardwood. Well when I get a chance I will drop it and see how it works for me this summer. My lake is still in draw down mode and they said it may be mid march before they raise it. I hope not, that may hurt the spawn.

USAF Retired and fishing!
Hey Scrat, Very Nice...That took awhile!
I made a bunch of those with a big main trunk like that, and just added 5 foot 1/2 and 3/4 PVC all around the main trunk....then you can reverse it and use a 6 inch PVC main trunk and add small limbs around it....take a buddy, cause they get heavy fast if you go overboard!

The BEST of BOTH worlds ! Wait till you fish this...
pretty neat idea, and thanks for sharing whenever i get my boat ready i will definitely try some of those in my little honey hole
Well I finally got to go out to the lake after lunch today. I dropped the habitat that I had made on this post. It went down straight to my surprise. I guess the wood made it stand up right. Maybe I will have another place to find a few crappie this summer. I talked to the Ranger out at out lake and they are raising the water back up from the winter draw down. At one time they were not going to until around March. Maybe our spawn will be a good one this year. I also talked to another crappie fisherman while fishing he had placed 4 ceder trees in the lake. My next project is some shallow water habitat. I did try fishing a little this evening ,but I couldn't even get a bite. I blamed it on the raising water, one excuse is as good as another. I assume that is why they call it fishing instead of catching. Remember to give back when taking fish from your waters by placing fish habitat (when it is legal)
Good luck fishing and be safe.
That looks awesome Scrat. It should be great and the PVC limbs want hang your jigs
