    If anyone has a concrete block plant in their area you can usually get broken blocks from them. They usually have a large "scrap" pile that they will let you dig through. I put stakes in the hole and fill with concrete- no bucket required. If you talk to the workers or maybe drop off a case of their favorite adult beverage at quitting time they will probably set aside the better scraps for you to pick up.

    You can also save you old fish oil and lightly coat the inside of the bucket and after the concrete sets up it will slide out
    Take you kids fishing today!!! They will be grown (and married and have children of their on) tomorrow. Then you can take your GRANDKIDS!

    Crisco works very well as long as it`s not really hot out and helps jump start the algae...

    I would think a very small investment on different diameter sonotubes.. cut to what ever he you wanted according to how large the brush pile was would work great.....a short yet large diameter base would work great at resisting the pile turning over on it's side.....

    Spray some pam on the inside of the tube for a release agent, when concrete cured just lift out of tube and use again..............
