Default New addiction - please help

Think I am becoming addicted to building crappie structure. Sunk my first batch about a month ago and caught fish off them Saturday. Loved it!! I have access to 1/8" PVC sheeting that is very buoyant. Thinking about slicing into 3'x 2" strips and zip tying each strip to a piece of 1" x 8' galvanized pipe. When dropped the PVC will float but be held to the bottom by the pipe making a 8'x3' curtain and if I sink 3 or 4 it would be like a stake bed. Only difference would be that the strips will move and twist with the current which is very light. Would this movement be good or bad?? Let me know what y'all think
    Thanks!

Not sure what effect the movement will have. But I would consider drilling a hole in the top of each strip then running a wire or heavy mono spacer to keep them from opening and closing.

Otherwise, cut slots in your pipe so you can make a rigid mount for your PVC.

Yup, he`s already "addicted"...get the white sweater with the sleeves sewn to the body and buckles on the back ready.
