Perhaps you mean `cover' ? We made a survey pass on a drop site in mid March, about 1 wk after ice out, marking almost no fish, dropped the 1st 8 "C" trees and came back in less than 40 minutes with more attractors and reorientated to drop the 2cnd set and those 1st 8 "C" trees were SWARMING with fish as if by magic...in short, NOT LONG !

ive never used it but heard that if you use pvc or non-natural cover it will not hold fish until it gets algae on it.

Location and timing has more to do with structure holding fish. Put in the area they want to be in and they move right on it.

As Lowell has stated, we have put in Natural and Non-Natural cover in out home lake, and within minutes, it has been covered with fish, and they continued to use it! We have a pic of a boat that sunk in the lake and it is loaded with fish....they don't care what it is as long as it provides benefits to then, like safety, shade, food, etc!
