Default Kind of queit on here,

so I thought since I was building some beds anyway, I'd stick a few pictures on here. I haven't built or placed any beds for the past 6 or 8 weeks, but I've got 2 free days to play. Guess I'll sink 3 or 4 beds in the morning before I try some of the beds I placed last year. I've been catching some good fish for Pomme De Terre the last 3 times I've been out, lots of 11" to 13" fish. One long point that runs out a junction of two creek channels in 11 to 12 fow has really been good. I placed 4 cedar stake beds in a row down the point and paralleled them with 4 plastic beds and 3 more plastic beds at the channel junction.

Looks alot like what I built from the underground cable pipe scraps. I just add rocks and sink, my depth finder picks up buckets of rock but not pipe.

It is cable duct, I work for a Telco. I've been using it for about 3 years now and the beds seem to get better with age. I had to drag one back to deeper water yesterday, must have been snagged by a catfisherman and drug into shallow water. It had a heavy coating of algae, sure couldn't see the orange. I caught a 15" bass & 2 legal crappie off it first. I noticed a boat looking for one of my beds yesterday, he had been trolling the last time I was out and seen me catch several. He circled the area a couple times and gave up.
