Bout 20 of them and ya got a nice stumpfield. I am liking it.
Cut a hole in the top so I could drop in a cinder block. Did go ahead and cut holes on opposing sides. Then quartered five gallon buckets ( saw it on here!!) and mounted them to the side of the drum. Mounted them concave side up, so as not to get hung up as easy.
Thought about putting something on for "limbs", but deploying them by myself, thought that might be to much. Advice for next time is welcomed. Not the best picture, sorry.

sand the plastic make algae grow faster
a good stumpfield for sure
Drill a few 2" holes in it, shove a few limbs or Boo thru the barrel, and toss it over.

Could add some limbs and boo. If by yourself, do it after putting barrel in water. Tie it off to side of boat. Cut holes (before in water) closer to top side. Add more than one block when done to make sure it sinks straight down when you let go. More wood/boo = more floatation. Repeat 10-20 times and you will have a great stump field. At least the catfish may like them too.
