Default How long is boo good for after cut?

Just wondering how long it should be good for after cut before its set and sunk. Lake should be coming up soon and my river property is a little ways away so with my work schedule, getting it cut, hauled, and sunk in one day isn't likely. not sure when it would be between cutting and sinking honestly with my days.

I have cut it and left it for over a month before I put it into pots and it seems to work fine. All the leaves will fall off, but they come off in the water after a while anyway. Good luck.

We cut and stack the baboo. Sometimes it sits for 2-3 months when the fish are biting. We've got boo piles that are in the water for 5 years now, and wtill standing tall. I wouldn;t think you were going to have a problem unless you are talking about enough month for the boo to start cracking and suck, maybe 6+ months. Maybe more.

I like to cut mine, pour same day, and sink 2 days later. I really want to get them in while the green leaves are still on. I feel that this attracts crappie a lot quicker.

I've cut bamboo and had it in a big bundle. And found That the leaves stayed on for several months like That. I actually had the huge bundle tied up off the ground, between two trees. So I could mow. But by not being in direct sunlight and so tight together. The leaves stayed on and stayed green too.
which if you lay it on the ground they dry up pretty quickly. The bamboo in the middle of the bundle looked just Like I had cut it a few days before. Which like you said, its Not always that you can get everything done and put out the same day. I figured This out cause I was using it for brush on my duck blind. So I was able to replenish my brush thruout the season, after I discovered this fact. Which the leaves were What I needed outta the bamboo. So keep it wrapped together with bungees and off the ground. Think the ground sucks the moisture out of It quicker or something.
