    crappiechaser2 wote.. CrappieMagnet, are you saying your Grandpa dropped them vertical so just the bottles were visible? I am always interested in trying things. How deep do you think (how long of a streamer of banners) did you use? Did you tie(tape) the banners to the rope for strength? Hope you can answer some of this information.

    Correct.They were left in water less than 15 feet.He used to tie them yes,directly to the rope,weight,and bottle.The bottles seemed just deep enough that the first 3-4 inches was exposed.Plus if you know the lake well enough,you generally know abouts where to look.


    Seems like it would make cribs produce quicker.Just a thought.If expense is a big key issue here,I don't think this would,break the bank.I spend lotsa money on good equipment,anyways...what's 15-20 bucks more,except maybe another trip to the ATM machine,or baitshop???

    Yes.I was undecided.

    But decided I'm heading up to the RV trailer for the weekend in Wisconsin,by myself.Yehaw....no wife this weekend.

    Thanks CrappieMagnet, I think I will hunt for some flags and try that out. Sounds simple enough to try. Hope you enjoy your fishing trip.
