I've got some just like it sunk, they will produce. You can single pole it or spider rig thru it with out hanging up. I cant pass up that orange pipe when I see the scraps on the side of the road. Do you use a hole saw for the holes ?

    Sticksteer-
Yes I use a holesaw for the holes in the "trunk". Have put about 4 out so far and have 4 more built and ready to be sunk. Have enough materials to build about 20 but work keeps getting in the way.

Always great to hear more and more guys fishing PVC with great results. Don't listen to "natural works best" mindset. Ask the fish, they tell you what they prefer on certain days. Don't be lost without a few good PVC spots in your go-to milk run to win!

looks good and I agree PVC works well and lasts forever so eventually you dont have to keep putting brushpiles in the lake.

GPS coordinates please. In my part of the country, man made structure is considered polution. Only the DNR can put in "fish cribs". They have put in 8 or 9 in the Chain of Lake that I live on. 8 lakes and only that number of cribs. According to the biologist for this body of water, he says people have NO IDEA how many crappies are in this chain of lakes. Of course a thermocline sets up in "some" of the lakes. But the boat traffic in the summer is way off the scale. Hardly anyone fishes during the summer.

The chain is a great fishery, especially black crappie. Tons of natural habitat without the need for to much to be added.Get out as soon as ice leaves(almost now) and get back into all the channels and backwater. Brush is key on the chain.
