Hope the orange color will be green with algae soon but the price was right (free scraps from fiber optic lines). Got about 4 truckloads and the bigger pipe is scrap from a plumber friend. Sink them where there is little or no current but I do wire a few bricks or a couple of concrete blocks on each end just to make sure they stay where I put them. Use deck screws to keep the "limbs" from sliding out of the "trunk".
After you insert the small pipe into the big pipe just kink it on both sides that will keep the limbs from coming out should save you a little time and money on the screws. I use the same stuff to make beds works awsome I have a couple thousand feet to sink getting started this weekend.
What kind of pipe/tubing is that red stuff? It looks simple enough to make...not to mention, AWESOME!

FroMan- The red (orange) pipe is 1 and 1/4 inch pvc that is buried and fiber optics are run through it. It is being buried all over Arkansas right now and I am getting scraps and short pieces from the project manager. Anything less than about 50 feet is considered scrap.
