    Where do most of you guys get your hardwood stakes from. I would love to find some free or very cheap.

    Hi Smalljaw,

    Call your local sawmills....You can usually get scrap wood pretty cheap...I pay 10 bucks for as much oak scrap as I can load on my utility trailer....There is another sawmill that I get scrap wood from..It is little more expensive..But, the wood is all banded up and the sawmill loads on my trailer...

    Yep what Jeremy said, saw mills or just about anywhere that does woodworking may have scrap that will work.

    Hi,

    I try to get oak.....It is the most common at the local sawmills....I am soon going to have a conncetion with hedge.....It will be just limbs/branches etc..

    Hi Deepcover,


    What is that your using in buckets?.....They look good...I like using our 10in x 10in wood frames or plastic dishpans...You can get real good angles with them...Which makes them cover more area....
