The fishiding works great in dark or clear water. We have had them in the water for over two years now. Don't go to Lowe's and buy the stuff!! Recycle and reclaim some old used material for these units. Watch out for patent issues (can't sell) look at the site for more info. and ideas.

Had a big hail storm come through about 3 years ago, needed to have my whole house re sided, kept all the old stuff (i cant seem to throw anything away). After seeing your idea glad i kept it. Here are some we made today, more to come. Cant wait to get them out and start fishing over them.

Good job man! They look great! Careful of the height or they will fall over. Nailing fins come off for snag resistance. Keep up the good work and get em' in. Fish will use them immediatly!

Yea good point about the height, might trim some of them down a bit. Put 50# of concert in each bucket, again thanks for a great idea.

Very GOOD idea! Excellent use of "recycling". 2 suggestions, A, alot of work, but cutting off the nail hole slots might be a good idea to reduce snags, B try to attach 3- 4 10 hole bricks vertically to the fill tube with wire; you won`t believe how fast small critters (crayfish, minnows, ect) will take up in them, and how just as fast fish learn to literally "suck" them right out of them...plus it`s enough extra weight to help them stay in place. Let us know how these "bad boys" work...
