Default time 'til the structure goes over the side

How long until a bucket condo concrete (sakrete) is cured enough to put it in the lake?

24 hours, or until it's set up enough not to tear apart when you move it. Actually, concrete will set up while it's under water.

It depends on the type of Sakrete you use and how much water you use to mix it with. A good rule of thumb is to wait until it turns white on top and is dificult to scratch with a nail. Concrete will setup under water, but you want your concrete to be strong enough withstand handling and the trip to the lake.

You can buy a bag of portland cement and add a shovel full to a bag of cheap Sakrete and it will make it stronger and quicker setting. I do this in the winter.
