How much weight do I need to sink a tree

I am going to be sinking an ash tree that is 25-30' tall. I was wondering how much weight I need to sink it? Appreciate any help! Thanks

I had a brain drain yesterday. I was watching Midwest Crappie yesterday afternoon on the internet and saw the segment on porcupine fishing structure. I thought why couldn't you make one out of a segment of say 3" or 4" pvc pipe and use your hole saw to cut holes in the pipe and slide in 1/2" or 3/4" short pieces of pipe. Watch the segment and devise your own with scrap pipe.:D

... but seriously, if the tree is still green (freshly cut) you won't need nearly as much weight as you would if it is dried out.

Something that big would probably do better if you cut it in half, and would be easier to transport, handle, and sink.

I'd say 50-80 lbs. per half, 50 if it's still green and 80 if it's dry.
