    Default Cheap Crappie Sets

Hi, i bought these plastic tubes at auction for 1.00. I have no idea what they were used for but they look like they slide into a tract of some sort. 7 busted bags of half price Sackrete and i now have 14 crappie sets. Now the question is, do you think they will work and if they will draw fish to them, how long do you think it will take. I have read it takes a while for plastic and p v c to form algea. I would like to know any info you can give me about this setup. Tks so much.

It should work just fine. Fish should start using it in a matter of days to a couple of weeks. The structure itself will attract some fish but algae will be twice as nice.

    Default Look Great

Those look great. How fast the fish get on them is so varied. Some of mine a month other a year. I do think PVC is a little slower than wood but hard to prove.

    I see 2 problems..........
    1. You only have 14 sets....
    2. They are not in the water.........
Build it and they will come......
    End of story.........

They look really good, I had dropped some back in may and went back a couple of weeks later and they had fish on them. I dropped wood and pvc.

That is the ticket. Sometimes the rate fish begin using PVC will vary to where you place the sets. Anytime you place crappie condos on a break will enhance the effectiveness of the entire arrangement.

Definately sand the slick surface off. Algae will stick to it better and alot faster.
