My family loves fish but gets tired of fried fish all the time. I tried this and they loved it. Take a casserole dish, put in a layer of crappie fillets (bream and shellcracker will also work) to cover the bottom. Spread pats of butter (the real stuff, not margarine) over the fillets along with some minced garlic, a little lemon juice and sprinkle with Old Bay seasoning. Now put another layer on top just like the first, butter and all. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 20 - 30 minutes (depending on thickness of fillets). Enjoy!
