    I like black pepper in my hamburgers. Just be sure to make some nice broiled mushrooms to go with that beef.

    love me some pan seared slightly caramelized onions with some sliced portabellas done in some butter in the cast iron pan ....

    I won't buy beef tenderloins at Grocery Basket, Grenada, MS again. They were $8.99 per lb so I got 2. I cut 1 1/2" thick. Grilled over charcoal, 5 minutes per side. It was like chewing bubble gum. Wouldn't break apart.
    I like slightly caramelized onions with thick sliced mushrooms, no matter the variety. Stir in the mushrooms for about 2 minutes so they are still crispy.

    maybe an old range cow that wasn't calving no more .....could happen ya know ....
    been surprised a few times myself like that , looks divine and cooked just right and no deal .....
