Default Ketchn Style Fried Tamale & Grits Breakfast

Oh, My, My, what a way to kickoff the morning. I have fuel in the tank for the entire day!

Frying the Tamales to reheat them just works. A bit of butter is all the fat in the pan. You can see the browned crust frying gives each side of the Tamale.

Topping a plate of Grits with the 4 Crispy Crusted Tamales first then Sharp Cheddar cheese. I didn't put under the broiler this morning as time was short.

A little combination of sauces to boost the flavor profile of the entire dish.

The problem is making myself go out to the shop and work after eating a plate like this, my recliner keeps calling my name.

had to loosen my belt just looking at that ....
just wow yummy is my guess ....
    now this ....
that Herdez brand stuff is made at a place my coworkers husband drives an 18 wheeler for .
some of the things they make are REALLY tasty ...
guess who co packs Herdez .... you might be surprised
and YES we get lots of free samples at work via her husband , apparently when any pallet has a boo boo , the employees there are allowed to take however much off said pallet home, for personal consumption .....

the line of Herdez stuff seems endless , I had no clue they had fresh salsas that have to be refrigerated , several varieties as well in a tub like store bought potato salad and there exists this here yellow stuff in a tall bottle that should have a big warning label on it ,will have to look again and see what the version is , but to be VERY sure it is flat out stupid HOT !

Me and Stupid Hot don't get along. That Dave's Insanity Sauce, I don't know if it's still around but I'm sorry you can't taste a thing when you're is so much discomfort from the Heat.
