    Default Not just on Valentines Day


    Stumbled on a homemade recipe of sorts
    chocolate pancakes were the desired result
    about 60% bisquik and 35% starbucks hot cocoa mix and 5% regular sugar
    run the pan heat a tiny bit lower than normal
    we add an egg or 2 and whole milk and a pinch of vanilla and cinnamon too.
    the desired mix also works well in a Belgium waffle iron
    I serve these often at our house with zero complaints
    pretty tasty stuff for sure
    and for the win , the ladies love them , just saying
    be a winner at your house too ....

    This is just too close a coincidence, I followed my wife to get new tires on her car yesterday and after dropping it off we went to IHop for breakfast. Well yesterday was National Pancake Day and they had a Chocolate Chip Pancake with Strawberries on top. We both looked at each other and said that would be awesome. While I read the news from overnight she checked King Arthur Flour's website for a specialized mix just for kicks ( She can make it without a mix). No mix was available so she was planning on finding a recipe this morning.

    Bud when I throw down and know I will suffer afterwards for some reason I appreciate the meal more. I certainly wouldn't be very productive after eating the whole thing.
