    Crappie and bell peppers.
    My first attempt at the peppers, my kitchen assistant had a failure to communicate and cut them into wedges instead of rings. But they were still fine! Thanks Rojo!
    And, it doesn’t get any more north Mississippi country than this - homemade pepper sauce in a golden eagle syrup jar Christmas eve supper

    That looks yummy. The peppers like that remind me of jalapeño poppers.

    Yes Sir, looks good to me. I fry the bottoms of each pepper after cutting the rings and love them most. Something about having a chunk of Bell Pepper that adds a richness to each bite. I do like the crunch of the rings too but the best flavor is in the "Chunky Cuts" so a fantastic communication lapse in my opinion.
