Folded over the sides and rolled up like a burrito for maximum cream cheese retention. Worked like a champ. Caution must be used while they are extremely hot. That hard to get that cream cheese off your lip when it is hot as lava.

I have looked at about a dozen recipes for jalapeno poppers lately. I’ve been wanting some but haven’t made any yet. These look good unless you’ve hidden mushrooms in them as well….

These are fungus free. Get the cream cheese and pepper ratios correct and they are amazing. The thinnest bacon you can find works best. Milanesa steak is what I use. It is very thin and works well. Sliced jalapenos give a medium heat. To raise the heat level diced jalapenos whipped into the cream cheese with a mixer will bring the heat

looks simply delicious , thinner bacon is important , it is tough to get the bacon done without ruining the product under it ,if it is the thick stuff .....mmmm yum

I definitely need to find some thin bacon. I have in the past partially cooked the bacon and then wrapped to reduce the cooking time. A smoker helps not cook everything too done
