Default Working up new Plum Bread Recipe Today

Everyone who had fruit trees when that late freeze came knows little fruit was harvested. I have over 80 varieties on site here. Most are for making wine & dried fruit but some for baking and preserve making. One of the pollinators, a Santa Rosa Plum produced about 75 of the 500+ plums it set. None to waste. I pureed 2 cups of Plums, toasted 2 cups of walnut halves, added 2 cups of white raisins, some brandy, etc. The batter tasted fantastic but I have not cut a loaf yet. If good a normal write up will follow.

Just had a slice with coffee, very tasty but I used a processor to chop up the Walnuts, I think a coarse chop with a knife next time.
