Default Rainy day Smoked Shotgun Shells

Manicotti noodles, ground sausage of choice, I used Tennessee Pride Mild Breakfast, cream cheese, shredded cheddar, Montreal Steak seasoning, bacon and bbq sauce of choice.

Mixed sausage, cheeses and seasoning in stand mixer. I have a jerky cannon that works perfect to stuff the pasta with meat mixture. Wrap in bacon and refrigerate overnight for best results, no less than probably 6 hours, it makes a difference I promise.

Preheat smoker to 250 and smoke for about 2 hours. Mop with bbq sauce, 15 more minutes, and enjoy.

Looks awesome. I made some last year. Smoked them, skipped the BBQ sauce. Placed them in a pan, smothered in tomato sauce. Those were some good eats.

Default Rainy day Smoked Shotgun Shells

This was a large batch, my daughter wanted some to take back to her dorm for the week.
    4lbs sausage
    2 blocks of cream cheese
    4 cups cheddar cheese
    3 packs of bacon
    4 packs of manicotti noodles

This made 47 shotgun shells. About 2 to 3 is all you can eat at a time with sides. We had crispy smashed red potatoes. I will send her some and freeze the rest, they are just as good out of the freezer and into the air fryer to warm up!

I made these many times, stuffing them by hand, before I thought of using the cannon. Man it makes short work of a large batch like this.

I had to buy one of the cannons years ago when we were thinning deer herds. It is the bomb with the twin shooter attachment shooting jerky onto the wire racks. Your Shotgun Shells look fantastic too......and I'm all in on the Q sauce also.
