Default Pheasant under glass you say ?

    Well kinda I suppose ......
bud gave me some pen raised birds he shot at a game ranch ....
just breasts and found ONLY one pellet !
deboned them off the rib cage and cut them in soup size chunks
pan seared them in garlic , onion and salt and pepper after they rested in the frig in those spices for 24 hours ....
then dropped them into the crock pot with chicken broth and all the veggies ..cabbage , onion , potatoes , carrots , garlic gloves , and celery
and put the GLASS lid over the mix .....
was bit bland to me , thought they might be more flavorful ....

    with those spices that's surprising.

My son went to one of those outings and many birds were shot and surprisingly most of guys wern't interested in taking them home but not MY BOY. He has a bunch of them and he will be smoking a lot of them plus roasting them as well. will give a report on how they turned out.

they kilt like a zillion of them total and gave me bunches of them all vacuum sealed 3 breasts per bag
gave several away and kept a few for us , not bad , just sort of lifeless flavor wise , thunk for sure they would have more "game" shall we say ....
