    Default Cast iron biscuits

Always heard the cast iron makes everything better. We use it quite often. I preheated the skillet, sprayed it with cooking spray and loaded in the can biscuits. They came out very good

I have a little long handled skillet. It doesn't have a name or any markings on it. It is the best little skillet that I have .

We keep one on top as well. I have been using a forged steel lodge lately. A little thinner than cast iron, heats a little faster and cooks just like cast

Them biscuits be mighty tasty with a little apple butter or blackberry jelly. Cast iron skillet, real corn bread is hard to beat too. Most of ours are barn and yard sale finds (rough) brought back to life using electrolysis.

A lot of mine are old ones as well. None of the good named antiques though. Not to far from here is the Lodge plant. Some of mine have came from their seconds store. They do pretty good with some smoothing up.

I found some homemade Black Rasberry jam earlier this summer that is TDF (to die for). Boy it would be better with a cast iron biscuit under it.
