This is my fourth one just purchased it. It hold 9 gallons of oil. Hold temp better than any before. Cooks perfectly even.

This is the fryer I use in my house. I always use the large single basket for crappie, the two smaller baskets for oysters, shrimp, & fries. Holds the heat well enough to cook 6 large, double dipped crappie fillets at a time. The cold zone keeps the grease from getting funky tasting from burnt coating. Comes with a stainless lid too. Easy to clean, I have a hose hooked to my hot water heater and just hose out. Also hose the element but not the controls.
Waring WDF1550 15 lb. Commercial Countertop Deep Fryer - 240V
For in the kitchen I use the grandpappy. It is a larger version of the Fry Daddy. I had been disappointed with other electric fryers, either too small, temp is not accurate, and most took too long to heat up in between batches. The granpappy is not adjustable but is the perfect temperature and more importantly doesn't cool way down when you put food in it like most of the other countertop fryers I've tried have. If you want a propane fryer for outdoors the Bayou Classic 2.5 gallon, a smaller version of the picture in the 4th post of this thread, is a good choice. The oil on the bottom stays cool so it doesn't burn and lasts a really long time. I have about a years worth of frying on mine and can just start to tell a difference in the oil. The fryer is a bit pricey but the money you save in oil will pay for it if you fry alot.
