I have a Char-Griller Acorn and Love it. I smoked a brisket overnight on Christmas Eve. Began with the grill reading 225 and smoked 8 1/2 hours and the grill still read 225. Never fluctuated all night.

Anyone have any advice other than having a good warranty?

I love my BGE. I don't use it near as often as I should, but it does great every time I do.

I have the Visions pro model. Every bit as nice or nicer than the egg or Joe. Plus a bunch cheaper. Had mine 2 years and love it. Great thing is it comes with a lot of the accessories you have to buy extra with the others. Home Depot sells them and run pretty good sales at times.

Got a Visions from Sam Club a lot cheeper than the others. Works great
The Vision and the Pit Boss are very close in price. The Home depot close to me has a few of the Vision grills in stock

Are use a vision grill with lump charcoal for grilling in a pit boss pellet smoker for smoking that works out best for me
Pit Boss makes a kamado grill also. I have a Pit Boss pellet smoker already. I have hams and a turkey on it now cooking for tomorrow

Bought the Vison grill. Put it together, let it run at 300 degrees for a few hours, cooked two of the best pizzas I have eaten.
