I vacuum seal all my fish and deer meat.

I use to do the water method but those bags take up a ton of freezer space so now I use a vacuum sealer with good results.

We usually vacuum seal our fish (fillets and whole fish), although for a while I had a hard time freezing fillets because my wife was cooking them before I got a chance to vacuum seal them. Freezing CrappieFreezing Crappie

I too have multiple freezers and use the quart bags with just enough water to cover fish. Use salt to soak the fish in frig but then don't use any when I freeze them. BTW Sams has their good vacuum sealer and bags on sale right now for $50 off. Bought mine yesterday and will be vauuming mine from now on. But when i do freeze with bags squeeze out all the air and it doesn't take up as much room in freezer.

bought one a year or so ago the one Bluegabe touted but it worked for a few times and then won't vacuum at all and they have no CS so just having to eat it. Oh well.
