Stan did you have to add more charcoal to the Weber? I’m in the market for a smoker.

[QUOTE=ArtyB;3776010]Stan did you have to add more charcoal to the Weber? I’m in the market for a smoker.
The Weber will hold smoking temperatures for about 8-10 hours when it is cold outside, 12-14 hours in the summer. The way you pack your charcoal, wind, and humidity can make a little impact but these smokers are pretty much set and forget type cookers that require little tending. For this cook I did add more lit coals to extend the smoke for the Burnt Ends. I have two of the 18.5in models, they do make a smaller (14in) and larger (22in) model. I would highly recommend this smoker for the price point and ease of use and availability. There is a great website that is dedicated to cooking with the Weber products, The Virtual Weber Bulletin Board. Check them out and good luck on your smoking journey, it’s almost as fun as Crappie Fishing, Almost
